HERE, FROM A REFUGEE CAMP IN
BURMA. FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS, THEY LIVED
IN THIS TWO BEDROOM APARTMENT. (

LIFE IS SO MUCH BETTER HERE,
THAN IN THE REFUGE CAMP. WE STARVE IN THE REFUGE CAMP. REPORTER: WE SPOKE WITH THEM
THROUGH A TRANSLATOR. THEY’RE STRUGGLING FOR BASIC
NEEDS, LIKE BEDSHEETS. MOM HAS ASTHMA, SO THESE VENTS
DON’T HELP. A CASE WORKER LET US KNOW
THAT THE FAMILY WAS KINDVE
STRUGGLING AND THEY COULD USE
SOME HOME ITEMS AND JUST SOME
MORAL SUPPORT. REPORTER: RESTORING DIGNITY AND
KING OF KINGS CHURCH STEPPED IN.>>WE CLEANED EVERYTING TOP TO
BOTTOM, WE SCRUBBED WALLS,
BASEBOARDS, WE SCRUBBED
EVERYTHING TOP TO BOTTOM. REPORTER: VOLUNTEERS REPLACED
BEDDING AND FURNITURE. ALL OF IT DONATED.>>ITS HELPED HER, HOW TO
ORGANIZE HER CLOTHES, EVEN IN
THE KITCHEN, THE BATHROOMS, THE
BEDROOMS. THEY SHOW HER HOW TO
